QuadNet Communications' Commitment to the Community

Giving something back to the communities that have nurtured us since our founding in 1989 is an integral part of the QuadNet Communications Mission Statement. We accomplish our goal in two ways:

Hiring Practices

QuadNet has a long-term commitment to hiring disadvantaged and physically challenged employees. One valued and loyal employee, who happens to have Downs Syndrome, once faced closed doors and unemployment despite her excellent office skills. She has found a home at QuadNet.

In other cases, we've provided free training to community members who faced long-term unemployment when their skills didn't keep pace with the marketplace. For example, when three local Bucks County companies went out of business, we provided free computer and software training at Quad Learning Center to former employees of the companies. We also found excellent jobs for many of these displaced workers. We see it as just part of our commitment to the community.

Corporate Sponsorship Program

QuadNet Communications introduced an innovative program designed to extend Internet access and promote charitable giving throughout the community. Here's how it works:

  • Get employees connected. QuadNet's corporate sponsorship program makes it possible for area companies to offer employees group rates for personal household Internet access. For just $12.95 per month, employees are connected to the world.
  • Keep the cost low. The low price saves some employees almost 50 percent! For others, it makes connecting to the Internet possible for the first time.
  • Provide the training. Employees who are not Internet savvy are given free classes at Quad Learning Center, QuadNet's training subsidiary.
  • Donate 10 percent of all proceeds to charity. Here's where the program really gets exciting. Ten percent of all fees generated by the corporate sponsorship program are donated each month to the company's favorite charity. QuadNet takes care of the paper work. The company gets the credit.
